Accommodation/Housekeeping Supervisor

This is a great opportunity for a person who currently has solid experience working as an housekeeping assistant within the Hotel environment who is now looking for the next step in their career.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the supervision of accommodation/housekeeping department on a day to day basis and reporting to the accommodation/housekeeping Manager.
  • To perform all day to day housekeeping duties along with the team
  • Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the housekeeping team with an emphasis on teamwork
  • Train new and existing staff
  • Have a flexible and proactive approach to work and problem solving
  • Fluent English essential

The candidate will have the responsibility along with the accommodation/housekeeping manager for running our accommodation/housekeeping department, ordering all relevant materials, managing the team and ensuring that service standards are maintained throughout the hotel.

Chefs of all Grades

This position is available for immediate start

We are currently recruiting for full and part time chefs, to join our very busy team in The Martello Hotel, the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about food.

You must be able to work under pressure dealing with high volumes. Good communication skills and pleasant personality essential.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working in line with HACCP requirements
  • To ensure the standard of food is produced of the highest possible standard
  • To be diligent in all aspects of your role
  • To maintain your relevant section to the highest possible standard e.g. Food production, cleaning
  • To follow instructions of head chef / sous chef with absolute co-operation in regard to menu/ food/ cleaning operations
  • To work in all areas of the kitchen operation where the head chef/ sous chef may place you with total flexibility
  • To be punctual for every shift
  • Ensuring that at all times you are clean and presentable at all times

Experience required:

  • Min. 1 years working in a fast paced kitchen 
  • HACCP Trained Level 2
  • Flexibility for weekend & midweek work is required.
  • Candidate must speak fluent English and have valid full time working permit
